Plain version: be 13 or older to sign in, be 18 or older to upload music or apply as an artist, be decent to other people, only upload or submit things you have the right to use, and understand that we can remove content or close accounts that break these rules. Using Ignixs means you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Accepting these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Ignixs. By using the site, signing in, uploading music, applying as an artist, or using any tools on the platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Who can use it
You can browse the public site at any age. To create an account or sign in, you must be at least 13 years old. To upload music, apply for artist status, or use creator tools, you must be at least 18 years old. Some countries set a higher minimum age for online services, so you may only use the site if you meet the age requirements where you live. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your account
You sign in with Google. Keep your account secure, use it only for yourself, and do not share it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may decline, suspend, restrict, or remove an account at our discretion, particularly to keep the platform and other users safe.
Acceptable use
To keep Ignixs usable and welcoming, you agree not to:
- harass, bully, threaten, or abuse anyone, or post hateful or discriminatory content;
- post, share, or request sexual content involving minors, or use the site to contact or groom a minor. This is zero tolerance and illegal activity may be reported to the authorities;
- post content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- impersonate another person, claim an artist name that is not yours, or misrepresent who you are;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or use the site to advertise unrelated products;
- attempt to break, overload, scrape, or gain unauthorised access to the site or other accounts, or get around age, safety, or moderation controls;
- upload non-music content (ads, skits, podcasts, or other material that is not music) where music uploads are required.
Artist applications and uploads
Artist status is not automatic. You may apply by providing truthful information and references to your work (for example profile or track links). Staff may approve, reject, or request changes at their discretion. When you upload music, you must only upload tracks you have the rights to publish. You confirm that you control or represent the artist identity and that the content is music you are allowed to distribute on Ignixs.
We may remove tracks, hide artist profiles, or revoke artist status if content or accounts break these terms, copyright rules, or community standards.
Your content
You keep ownership of the music, artwork, artist names, profile details, posts, and other materials you provide. By uploading or publishing on Ignixs, you confirm you have the rights to that material and you grant Ignixs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, stream, display, promote, and archive it as part of the service, including titles, artwork, artist name, and related metadata. You are responsible for your content. You can ask us to remove content or delete your account through the contact options available on the site or by contacting site staff.
How do I get paid for my music?
Ignixs does not pay artists per stream. Plays on Ignixs are provided for discovery, promotion and audience building.
Artists retain control of their music and can earn directly from their audience by adding links for music sales, fan support, memberships, merchandise, tickets, commissions, bookings and licensing.
You may also link to external streaming services and distributors where you receive royalties under your own arrangements. Ignixs does not take ownership of your music or prevent you from publishing it elsewhere.
Any sale, subscription, donation or commercial arrangement made through an external service is between the artist, the customer and that service.
Copyright and DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Ignixs infringes your copyright, use our DMCA / copyright report form. We may remove or disable access to material that appears to infringe, and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers where appropriate.
Reporting and moderation
If you see something that breaks these terms, report it through available site tools or contact staff. We may review reported content, remove anything that breaks these terms, and suspend, restrict, or close accounts, with or without notice, especially where safety is involved. We are not obliged to monitor everything, but we can act on what we find or what is reported.
Suspension and closing your account
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or to protect the platform, staff, or community. You can ask to close your account. Account removal or anonymisation is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
The service is provided “as is”
We work to run a useful music platform, but the site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause, or stop features at any time, and we do not guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ignixs and its staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, for content posted by users, or for the conduct of other users. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Indemnity
You agree to cover Ignixs and its staff for claims, losses, and costs that arise from your breach of these terms or from content you post or submit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the place where the service is operated, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of that place, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Changes
We may update these terms as the platform grows. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
