Jai The Poet is a Detroit-area lyricist, storyteller, and founder of Resonant Records, known for turning lived experience into sharp, cinematic music. Blending hip-hop, boom bap, jazz, glitch, industrial textures, and heavy 808s, he created his signature sound: Detroit Glitch-Bap. Through raw honesty, dark humor, intricate wordplay, and his mysterious Record Head persona, Jai explores survival, identity, grief, addiction, society, and the beautiful chaos of being human.
